Getting the most out of coaching

 

Relax - This is a time for you to relax and be you. No stress. You do not need to perform or do anything to impress me. Coaching calls are a judgement free zone!

Prepare - Take time to prepare for our calls. Take a minute to go over last week's action steps. Reflect on your wins. Think about what you would like to focus on for the upcoming call. If you have a journal format, take a minute to look over that.

Be flexible - Give yourself permission to be flexible. Coaching takes time and the time it takes for lasting change to take effect is different for each person. As we coach, goals are often added and priorities change. This is totally normal.

Prioritise - Make your action steps a priority! This is about you and your future. Know that you are worth being a priority.

Reflect - Take time to reflect on your day. Look for areas where you could be more effective in reaching your goals. Think about your responses to people and situations.

Communicate - Never be afraid to communicate with me. If something needs to change, let’s talk about it. My goal is your happiness and success.

Be realistic - Change does not happen overnight, sadly. Set realistic, attainable and measurable goals for yourself throughout the week.
